Are electronic signatures legal in the UK?
Yes. Electronic signatures are recognised in UK law and are used for most everyday business agreements. A few documents, such as some property deeds and wills, have special rules, so check with a solicitor if you're unsure about a particular document.
Do my customers need an account or app?
No. They open the link in the email and sign in their browser, on any phone, tablet or computer.
Where are signed documents kept?
On your own website, encrypted, and only you or the signer with their unique link can open them. Every party also gets a signed PDF by email.
Can more than one person sign?
Yes. Add as many signers as you need and set the order they sign in.
What if a customer doesn't sign?
Automatic reminder emails go out, and you can see whether they've opened the document yet.
