1. Who we are
Savvy Saver is the controller of personal data collected through savvy-saver.co.uk. For anything about your data, email hello@savvy-saver.co.uk.
2. What we collect
- Quote form: your name, email, business name, website, services, areas you cover, goals and anything else you choose to tell us. We also record which page you came from and any campaign tags in the link you used.
- Live chat and email: your messages and the contact details you give us.
- Payments: your name, billing address and payment details are collected by our payment provider, Stripe. We don't see or store your full card number.
- Clients: information needed to run your website, such as logins, content and enquiries received through your site.
- Website use: technical information such as your IP address, browser and pages visited, through essential cookies and, if you agree, analytics cookies. See our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use it
- To prepare and send your quote and free website check, and to reply to your questions.
- To provide our services, take payments and keep records.
- To send emails you've asked for. If you tick the box for updates, we'll send occasional tips and offers. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
- To keep our website secure and understand how it's used.

5. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. We share it only with providers who help us run our business, under contracts that protect it:
- Website hosting and security providers
- Stripe (payments)
- Our email delivery providers
- Our live chat provider
- Our client portal and project tools
- Our accountant, and HMRC where required by law
6. International transfers
Some of our providers store data outside the UK, for example in the EU or the USA. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Agreement or the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
7. How long we keep it
- Quote enquiries that don't go ahead: up to 24 months, then deleted.
- Client records and invoices: 6 years after the end of our contract, as required for tax purposes.
- Chat transcripts: up to 24 months.
- Marketing preferences: until you unsubscribe, plus a record that you did.
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to access, correct or delete your data, restrict or object to how we use it, and receive a copy in a portable format. You can withdraw consent at any time. The ICO has a clear guide to your data protection rights. Email hello@savvy-saver.co.uk and we'll reply within one month.
9. Security
We use encrypted connections, firewalls, access controls and regular backups to protect your data, and limit access to people who need it.
